White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre staunchly defended President Biden’s decision not to undergo a cognitive test during his physical examination, asserting that the demands of his role prove its unnecessary, Fox News reports.
In response to a reporter’s inquiry about the absence of a cognitive test, Jean-Pierre emphasized that Biden’s doctor deemed it unnecessary, stating, “folks need to understand that the president passes a cognitive test every day.”

Jean-Pierre elaborated on the nature of clinical cognitive tests, highlighting their brevity compared to the president’s daily responsibilities.
“If you look at what a clinical cognitive test is – actually what it does – it is a 15-minute appointment that is administered by someone who, most of the time, people don’t actually know,” Jean-Pierre said.
She emphasized the rigorous demands of Biden’s duties, underscoring the administration’s failed commitments on job growth, small business action, and investments. According to Jean-Pierre, Biden’s doctor and neurologist concur that he does not require a cognitive test, given his robust engagement with these pressing issues on a daily basis.
Results from Biden’s physical examination affirmed his fitness for office, with Dr. Kevin O’Connor declaring him a “healthy, active 81-year-old male” capable of executing the duties of the presidency effectively.
Despite this reassurance, concerns about Biden’s age persist, with recent polling indicating widespread skepticism among Americans, including a significant portion of Democratic voters, regarding his ability to serve another term.
