Gov. DeSantis Drops Big Truth Bomb About Harris Running Mate Tim Walz

Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis annihilated Democrat Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, the vice presidential nominee of the Democrat party.
It came as the Florida governor was speaking to the press and mentioned that Walz said, during one of his campaign speeches, that he believed the government’s job was to “mind your own damn business.”
An interesting take from a man who believes socialism is “neighborliness” and by someone who setup a snitch hotline for citizens to report other citizens for not wearing masks during the COVID pandemic.
“Some of us are old enough to remember when it was Republicans who were talking about freedom,” the Democrat governor said to the crowd. “It turns out now what they meant was the government should be free to invade your doctor’s office.”
The only concern Gov. Walz had about the government minding its own business was, as anticipated, on abortion and IVF because his record shows that on everything else, he wants the government in your business.
“In Minnesota […] there’s a golden rule: mind your own damn business,” said Walz.
Gov. DeSantis shredded him for his hypocrisy.
“They’re asking me about this Walz from Minnesota. Here’s the thing. As Florida governor, I learned a lot about other states because when people leave those states, they tell me why they left those states. I remember during Covid, the absolute frustration that people had moving from Minnesota because of how they were being treated,” the Florida governor said.
“This is a guy who’s out there with a line in his stump speech saying, ‘Our neighbors can do what they want, mind your own damn business.’ Why did you set up a snitch hotline for neighbors to report on their neighbors for violating your draconian Covid restrictions? That’s not minding your own damn business! That’s government overreach,” he said.
“And he’ll say, ‘Make your own healthcare choices.’ That’s fine, great. Then why did he impose a mandate to take an experimental MRNA COVID shot on your people? He did that for all state employees,” DeSantis added.
“I don’t think it was constitutional. It certainly wasn’t giving them an option for something that just came on the market. Are you kidding me? This is absolutely ridiculous. And on and on it goes about the policies that were done that have given them a net decrease in population,” he said.
