Trump Campaign Uses Harris’ Own Words Against Her On The Economy

Vice President Kamala Harris stuck her foot in her mouth and handed former President Donald Trump’s campaign perhaps the greatest ad it could have asked for.
During a speech where she announced her draconian, Soviet-style economic plans she managed to list the failure of the Biden and Harris administration and the damage it has caused for average Americans:
Everyday prices are too high.
…
It feels so hard to be able to just get ahead.
…
The bills add up… Food, rent, gas, back-to-school clothes, prescription medications.
…
The cost of food. A loaf of bread costs 50% more… ground beef is up almost 50%… There’s a serious housing shortage… The price of housing has gone up… It is too difficult to build, and it is driving prices up.
…
It is out of reach… The size of down payments have gone up as well… It is still too high… There’s not much left at the end of the month… And prices are still too high.
The Trump War Room account on X simply responded by sharing the video and saying, “We couldn’t have said it better ourselves.”

Harris got panned by many for her socialist-style economic policies at the same rally.
Among the critics was Fox Business host Charles Payne who believes it is a disaster.
“It’s a lot, right? I mean, it’s essentially what we’re talking about, this gargantuan big government that controls everything. What we’re talking about is a war on capitalism,” the host and economic expert said.
“They really do not believe in capitalism. And to be quite honest, Dave, when I sat down, I heard you talking about how this has surprised some people. I was never… I never bought in that she was shifting her spots, you know,” Payne continued.
“But then the selection of the governor from Minnesota solidified this. They are infatuated with some sort of big government, knows all, does all, can provide all, and they are not fans of the for-profit motivation or capitalism because it’s not even about economics for them. They’ve got to wrap it in the veneer of economics. It’s always, always about control. They want to control. They want to be able to pick winners and losers and also be able to punish those losers,” the host said.
“When they talk so vitriolically about companies, to David’s point, last time Kroger reported their earnings, their profit margins went down from 3.5% to 2.9%. Now, I don’t care what definition of gouging you may have, that’s not it. I don’t care what anyone says, 2.9% ain’t gouging. By the way, they have tens and tens and tens and tens of thousands of employees,” Payne noted further.
“And America’s got to decide. You know, I know this is sexy, might be sexy, sounds fair to younger people, but you have to really understand, the one thing that people need to look at is when President Biden and Vice President Harris talked, the one thing they keep talking about is how quickly America rebounded, how it’s doing much better than its rivals. Now, they want to take credit for it, but we have been the best economy in the world since the late 1800s,” the host said.
