After the horrific attack on peaceful Jewish protesters in California, President Donald Trump’s Border Czar Tom Homan is warning that more attacks are imminent.
He spoke to Fox News host Sean Hannity about the Egyptian national who was in the United States illegally after overstaying his visa, who committed the horrific attack.
“Do you not agree that if we don’t find these people soon that we are at risk of another 9/11 or worse?” Hannity said.
“It’s coming. I mean, why did two million illegal aliens pay more to get away? They could have paid half what they paid, crossed the border, turned themselves in, get released that day, get a free airline ticket to the city of their choice, get a free hotel room, three meals a day, free medical care, and a work authorization,” Homan said.
“Two million people paid more to get away. They didn’t want to be vetted or fingerprinted. Why? Scares the hell out of me. I’ve been doing this for 40 years. It should scare every American. The two million got-aways scare the hell out of me. I’m convinced something is coming unless we can find them,” he said.
Federal authorities have charged 45-year-old Mohamed Sabry Soliman with a hate crime following a violent attack on a pro-Israel rally in Boulder, Colorado, that injured eight people. The incident, which involved the use of Molotov cocktails, is being described by the FBI as a “targeted terror attack.”
The attack occurred Sunday on Pearl Street, where the group “Run for Their Lives” had gathered to demand the release of Israeli hostages held by Hamas. Witnesses say Soliman threw incendiary devices into the crowd while shouting “Free Palestine!”
According to a federal criminal complaint, Soliman “threw two lit Molotov cocktails at individuals participating in a pro-Israel gathering near the Boulder Courthouse.” The crowd included older adults, with victims ranging in age from 52 to 88. One person remains in critical condition, but as of Monday, no fatalities have been reported, according to Fox News.
The federal hate crime charge is based on the actual or perceived race, religion, or national origin of the victims. In addition to the federal charge, Soliman faces multiple state charges, including first-degree murder, assault, and use of explosives during a felony. He has also been charged with crimes against at-risk adults and attempted commission of other serious felonies.
