British television news host Piers Morgan was stunned when liberal journalist Taylor Lorenz said that she felt “joy” when she watched the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.

She appeared on “Piers Morgan Uncensored” where she explained her posts celebrating the man’s death and she showed no remorse.

“Why would you be in such a celebratory mood about the execution of another human being?” the host said. “Aren’t you supposed to be on the caring, sharing left where, you know, you believe in the sanctity of life?”

“I do believe in the sanctity of life, and I think that’s why I felt joy, unfortunately, along with so many other Americans,” Lorenz said.

The answer stunned Morgan, who asked, “Joy?! Serious? Joy at a man’s execution?”

“Maybe not joy, but certainly not empathy,” the journalist said, backtracking.

“How can this make you joyful? This guy is a husband, he’s a father, and he’s been gunned down in the middle of Manhattan. Why does that make you joyful?” the host continued before the journalist defended her ghoulish glee.

“So are the tens of thousands of Americans that he murdered!” she said. “So are the tens of thousands of Americans, innocent Americans, who died because greedy health insurance executives like this one push a policy of denying care to the most vulnerable people, and I am a part of the many millions of Americans that have watched people that I care about suffer and in some cases die because of lack of healthcare.”

“So should they all be killed then?” the host said “Should they all be killed, these healthcare executives? Would that make you even more joyful?”

Lorenz then laughed again before responding, “Uh, no,” when the host shot back, “Well, why not? Why are you laughing? You seem to find the whole thing hilarious. A bloke’s been murdered in the street. I don’t find it funny at all.”

She was again laughing when guest Tomi Lahren said it was “a bridge too far” to “be joyful or even to say you’re not empathetic about somebody losing their life when they leave behind two young boys.”

And that was when Morgan snapped.

“Taylor, I don’t mean to be rude, but why the f**k are you laughing all the time?” he said. “I don’t get it. Sorry, apologies for my language, but honestly I find it unbelievable! What are you laughing at?”
