President Donald Trump’s popularity is on the rise just two months into his return to the White House, despite liberal media and Democrat narratives claiming that he’s losing support fast.

Since taking office, Trump has moved swiftly to fulfill his campaign promises, implementing rapid spending cuts, enforcing aggressive deportation policies, and adopting a hardline foreign policy.

These actions appear to be resonating with the American public.

According to a new DailyMail and J.L. Partners poll, Trump’s approval rating has risen by one percentage point over the past two weeks, reaching a historic high of 54 percent despite a deeply divided national climate.

Notably, younger voters are driving the increase, with 56 percent of those aged 18 to 29 now approving of his performance—up from 51 percent just two weeks ago.

When asked about their evolving views on the president, 36 percent of Americans reported a more favorable perception, while only 16 percent said their opinion had worsened. Trump’s return to the White House has been anything but quiet.

After defeating now-former Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 election, Trump moved swiftly to reshape the country according to his vision. From the moment he was sworn in on January 20, his administration has been defined by sweeping executive orders, bold policy shifts, and the same brand of political turbulence that characterized his first term.

The poll showed a slight decrease in the president’s approval rating among Republicans, falling from 92 percent to 89 percent. However, approval ratings rose among Democrats, increasing from 20 percent to 22 percent. Many respondents expressed that the president was fulfilling his commitments.

“He has accomplished more so far this time than in his first four years,” said a female Harris voter from Pennsylvania. One Trump voter from California commented, “He is more focused and less toxic.”

“Some pollsters have noticed a decline in Trump’s ratings,” said James Johnson, co-founder of J.L. Partners. “We think this is a reflection of non-response bias rather than reality: Basically, energized Democrats who were not answering polls a month ago now doing so.”

Johnson added: “Our polling was the most accurate in 2024, and we are confident this is the real picture: Trump’s approval rating holding firm rather than slipping.”

Trump has prioritized dismantling much of the previous administration’s policies, signing a series of executive orders to roll back diversity initiatives, cut federal regulations, and restructure government agencies.

One of his most talked-about moves was the creation of the Department of Government Efficiency, headed by Elon Musk, with a mandate to overhaul federal operations. Immigration has also been a key focus, with Trump pushing to accelerate deportations and restart construction of the border wall.
