Kid Rock Has Thoughts About Bud Light Partnering With Trans-Activist Dylan Mulvaney

Singer/songwriter Kid Rock had some pretty strong responses to the news that trans-activist Dylan Mulvaney is partnering with the Bud Light brand.

The 52-year-old rock star, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie, expressed his angst on social media.

“Grandpa’s feeling a little frisky today. Let me say something to all of you and be as clear and concise as possible,” he said, picking up what appeared to be an automatic weapon and began firing at cases of the beer.

“F*** Bud Light,” Kid Rock concluded, wearing a white MAGA hat. “And f*** Anheuser-Busch. Have a terrific day.”

Anheuser-Busch is the beverage company that owns the Bud Light brand.

Since activist Mulvaney posted a video over the weekend revealing a partnership with the beer brand, social media has been abuzz. Mulvaney shared an Instagram video displaying a customized beer can.

“Bud Light sent me possibly the best gift ever: a can with my face on it,” Mulvaney noted on Instagram stories.

Mulvaney also participated in a promotional event for the NCAA basketball tournament, sponsored by Bud Light, and shared a video promoting the event with the hashtag “#budlightpartner” on social media.

Initially, Mulvaney’s followers were unsure if the posts were a prank due to being posted on April Fool’s Day. However, the partnership was later confirmed by the beer company in a statement.

“Anheuser-Busch works with hundreds of influencers across our brands as one of many ways to authentically connect with audiences across various demographics and passion points,” an Anheuser-Busch spokesperson told Fox News.

“From time to time, we produce unique commemorative cans for fans and for brand influencers, like Dylan Mulvaney. This commemorative can was a gift to celebrate a personal milestone and is not for sale to the general public.”

Several people responded negatively on social media — though not with the ferocity of Kid Rock.

“I’ve been drinking Bud Lite for more than 20 years, sadly I had my last one yesterday. Deciding on a new non-bud owned alternative today,” one Twitter user wrote.

“Fire your marketing director. He/she/they just sank your company into the ground,” a second user noted.
