On Monday night, podcaster and comedian Joe Rogan publicly endorsed former President Trump in a post on X, following an interview with Trump supporter Elon Musk on The Joe Rogan Experience. Rogan encouraged listeners to tune into the Musk interview, where Musk shared his views on the former president.
“The great and powerful @elonmusk. If it wasn’t for him, we’d be f—ked. He makes what I think is the most compelling case for Trump you’ll hear, and I agree with him every step of the way. For the record, yes, that’s an endorsement of Trump,” Rogan wrote.
During a rally in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, former President Trump shared the news of Rogan’s endorsement with his supporters. “Wow, I have some more big news, I’m just getting this right now,” Trump announced. “And it just came over the wires that Joe Rogan just endorsed me, thank you, Joe,” he added. Trump went on to emphasize the significance of the endorsement, noting that Rogan rarely endorses candidates.
With The Joe Rogan Experience having a strong following among young male listeners—a key demographic for the GOP—the endorsement could prove huge for Trump.
Rogan has also reached out to Vice President Kamala Harris’s team, expressing interest in interviewing her as well. While her team didn’t declined the invitation, they requested that Rogan travel for the interview. “I strongly feel the best way to do it is in the studio in Austin,” Rogan posted on X last week, adding that he hopes for “a nice conversation” to get to know Harris “as a human being.”
