Pollster Frank Luntz has concerns about what will happen in the United States after the next President of the United States is decided.
He made the revelation during an appearance on NewsNation this week when he spoke to a focus group about the coming election.
“I’m watching this, and I love this, because this is America in front of you. And there’s America up on that wall. But I’m not doing it for applause. And I actually would seek not to have it. This is really serious. People are gonna be really angry six days from now, really angry,” he said.
“And I’m afraid what’s gonna happen eight or nine days from now, when people believe that they were robbed on both sides, because I can’t tell. And we know what states matter. We know what voters matter,” the pollster warned before breaking into voter demographics.
“I’ll give you an example. Latinos, who traditionally vote Democrat by about 22, 23, 24%. Right now, the margin for them, and we’ll see what happens because of the comment about Puerto Rico, but we’ll see what happens, because I think Trump’s gonna do pretty well among them,” said Luntz.
“Younger women are going to vote in droves for Kamala Harris, and it’s gonna be significant. And for the Republicans, they have to drive this vote of the unions, they have to drive Latinos, and they have to drive, frankly, African-American men, young African-American men who have given Trump a look. For women, it’s the younger vote,” he said as he began to speak about his concerns.
“But in the end, are we gonna come together? And I don’t, I’m not convinced of it. And it scares me as a professor, as someone who teaches, how do we get over this? (Stephen A. Smith) went to West Point yesterday. He was a star,” Luntz continued.
“Stephen A. Smith was a genuine star. They look up to him, they appreciate him. There wasn’t a mention, not one, of Donald Trump or Kamala Harris. Not one. It was all about leadership. It was all about character. It was all about sacrifice. And dude, thank you very much for what you said and for how you said it. You had an impact,” he added.
