Billionaire Elon Musk, who has increasingly criticized U.S. President Joe Biden, has made a donation to a political group supporting rival presidential candidate Donald Trump, Bloomberg reported on Friday, citing anonymous sources.
The report did not specify the amount of Musk’s donation but described it as “a sizable amount” given to America PAC.
The PAC is reportedly focused on helping Trump over the finish line in swing states.

According to Bloomberg, America PAC, which can receive unlimited contributions for political activities, is scheduled to disclose its list of donors on July 15.
Musk, one of the world’s richest men, has been a vocal critic of President Joe Biden and has expressed disagreement with many left-wing policies his administration has implemented.
He has also frequently engaged with conservative accounts on X, often interacting with and commenting on their posts.
Meanwhile, several Biden donors are threatening to withhold their contributions due to concerns over the president’s re-election prospects. Some are also using this as leverage to urge the president to step down as the Democratic Party’s nominee for the upcoming presidential election.
In September, Musk visited the U.S.-Mexico border at Eagle Pass, Texas, describing the situation as “beyond insane and growing fast.”
