A homeless sex offender with an outstanding warrant is now facing charges for allegedly luring a 13-year-old girl into his tent near a Seattle park and sexually assaulting her.

According to charging documents obtained by The Post Millennial’s Ari Hoffman Show on Talk Radio 570 KVI, on June 26, Brian David Miller (51) allegedly approached a 13-year-old girl who was sitting on a bench near a playground in Seattle’s Wallingford neighborhood. The girl had left home following an argument with her mother.

Miller is accused of initiating a conversation with the girl and, when it started to rain, taking her to a nearby restaurant where he bought her a milkshake. He then allegedly promised her a cell phone, which her parents had prohibited, stating it was in his tent.

Police reports indicate that Miller brought the girl to his encampment in Woodland Park, near a local zoo, which was “hidden” among the trees. While there, they allegedly smoked marijuana together. The charging documents reveal that when the girl attempted to leave the tent, Miller struck her in the head and sexually assaulted her.

After the girl returned home, her parents discovered the incident when they noticed a cell phone they had not provided her. The phone had allegedly been given to her by Miller so they could maintain contact. The parents immediately contacted the police, who showed the family a photograph of Miller from the King County sex offender registry.

The girl confirmed his identity. Medical staff at Seattle Children’s Hospital discovered bruising on the girl during a subsequent examination.

Surveillance footage from the restaurant where Miller bought the milkshake shows him with the girl prior to the alleged assault. When police arrested Miller, he was reportedly wearing the same clothing seen in the video.

The Post Millennial reports: Miller is listed on the King County Sex Offender Registry as an absconded sex offender after he was released from prison in April following a four-year sentence for a conviction of attempted commercial sex abuse of a minor.
