CNN conservative commentator Scott Jennings dropped the hammer on liberals who have been complaining about Elon Musk and his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

The Democrat mantra has been to keep saying the line “No one voted for Elon Musk” but the truth is that President Donald Trump campaigned with Musk for months and said precisely what the Space X and Tesla CEO would do.

And with that knowledge the voters went to the polls and handed Trump a mandate with a massive Electoral College and popular vote victory.

“So, it’s not illegal, not illegal. You don’t like the politics of it. I’ll give you the other side. This is radical transparency on these USAID grants and other parts of the government that typically operate in an opaque fashion,” Jennings said.

“And there are plenty of law degrees here. I’ll give you the political view. The American people elected Donald Trump because they thought he was going to be a sledgehammer against this government and against the out-of-control bureaucracy, and Elon Musk is the instrument of the destruction,” the conservative commentator said.

“And there is nothing bad about the politics of this right now, about going through the government and reporting to the American people. ‘Did you know your money’s going here? Did you know your money’s going there?’ It’s all upside for Trump,” Jennings continued.

But the liberals on the CNN panel were still incensed about what Musk has been doing and remained apoplectic about the situation.

“What about Musk’s approach where he shouldn’t even be questioned about,” Donte Mills said before Jennings interrupted him and said, “He’s questioned by his boss.”

“Is he? Is he? They don’t even know what he’s doing. That’s the problem,” Ashley Allison said sans any evidence but Jennings shut her down too.

“Trump said he would have authorization to do what he needed to do,” he said.
