Conservative broadcaster and author Dan Bongino issued a stern warning to certain Republican “insiders” who he accuses of undermining former President Donald Trump’s campaign.

Bongino specifically called out 2016 Trump campaign manager and former top political adviser Kellyanne Conway just days after a report claimed she was in touch with him and could be rejoining his campaign.

On Wednesday’s show, Bongino called media stories suggesting Trump is regretting his choice of Vance “absolute bullshit” fueled potentially by leaks from Trump’s own side. He pointed to a Daily Mail article that cited sources claiming Trump is having a “meltdown” over Vance.

“There’s a lot of internal sabotage going on right now that I honestly did not want to highlight because I like to stay focused on the Democrats, and I was hoping it would go away. It’s not,” Bongino said.

The conservative commentator stated that he has spoken to many people who strongly believe that Vance’s position on Ukraine is a major cause of some Republicans’ dissatisfaction. “I suspect strongly this was a leak from people who wanted another candidate for vice president,” Bongino said, pointing his finger at the “Kellyanne Conway camp.”

“Some of the other candidates were very interested in a more muscular posture in Ukraine, where there was a lot of money to be made for a lot of people. JD Vance is interested in a more cautious approach to Ukraine,” Bongino noted. He went on to call Trump-Vance a “great ticket” while blasting those he says are “sabotaging” the campaign behind the scenes.

“Instead of just shutting up and trying to win now with this great ticket, there are people out there sabotaging the ticket right now,” Bongino added.

He then addressed Conway directly: “I’m going to say to Kellyanne and others: it’s time to pipe down. You’ve been warned. I’ve had about enough,” he said.

Conway noted on the X platform on Aug. 2 that she just had “quite the meeting” with her former boss and president, though she did not reveal any details.

DailyMail.com reported later that several Trump family members and other insiders were turning to Conway as they said his campaign began to flag in the face of Vice President Kamala Harris’s onslaught.
