Biden had previously expressed his willingness to engage in a debate with the presumptive 2024 Republican presidential nominee, stating, “I am, somewhere. I don’t know when.” In an interview with Howard Stern, he reiterated his openness, saying, “I’m happy to debate him.”
Responding to Trump’s suggestion of debating at the courthouse in Lower Manhattan or even at the White House, Biden has not confirmed a specific date for the debate, emphasizing that his decision hinges on Trump’s conduct.
