President Joe Biden’s press conference has not done a ton to squash the concerns of Democrats who want him to step aside as the nominee of the Party for the presidential election.
The president used his press conference as more of a campaign speech as he made a litany of false claims about his own record and that of his opponent, former President Donald Trump.
He began the question and answer portion of his press conference by announcing that he had been given a list of reporters to call on and then proceeded to answer a question about the confidence he has in Vice President Kamala Harris by making another gaffe.
“I wouldn’t have picked Vice President Trump to be vice president did I think she’s not qualified to be president,” he said.

He then snapped at a reporter who asked him if he thought that any global leaders had concerns about his cognitive abilities.
“Did you see any damage of our standing in my leading this conference?” he said to the reporter. “Have you seen a more successful conference? What do you think?”
And the president bristled at a reporter who questioned him about taking a full neurological examination, which he has been avoiding every time it is mentioned.
He claimed that doing the job of president was a neurological examination and that he does it daily, as he stumbled to complete a sentence.
“I’ve taken three significant and intense neurological exams by neuro… by a neurosurgeon… neur… a neurologist,” he said.

Prior to the press conference, at a NATO event, he also mistook the name of the President of Russia for the President of Ukraine.
“And now I want to hand it over to the President of Ukraine, who has as much courage as he has determination. Ladies and gentlemen, President Putin,” he said to applause.
“President Putin. You’re going to beat President Putin. President Zelensky. I’m so focused on beating Putin, we’ve got to worry about it,” he said.
Calls from Democrats for him to step down have only increased since the press conference, according to reports.
