President Joe Biden said during an interview that he is “not confident” there will be a peaceful transition of power if Kamala Harris wins and Donald Trump loses the general election in November.
In an interview with CBS News’ Robert Costa, which will air in full this weekend, Biden asserted that Trump has called for violence if he does not secure a second term in office.
“If Trump loses, I’m not confident at all,” Biden said when asked if he is confident about a peaceful transfer of power.
Biden says he’s concerned there won’t be a peaceful transfer of power if Trump wins. Then he corrects himself and repeats the bloodbath hoax.

“He means what he says… all this stuff about if we lose there will be a bloodbath,” the president added.
Biden’s reference to Trump mentioning a “bloodbath” has been a frequent point of contention.
