While there has been considerable attention on Hollywood’s support for Vice President Kamala Harris, not every A-list actor is aligned with her campaign.
The entertainment industry was taken aback last week when leading actor Zachary Levi endorsed former President Donald Trump during a weekend rally in Dearborn, Michigan, as reported by the Western Journal.
Joining him were Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and former Democratic congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, both of whom have contributed to expanding the MAGA coalition as part of their “Reclaim America” tour.
The inclusion of Levi, best known for his roles in blockbuster films such as Disney’s “Tangled” and Warner Bros./DC’s “Shazam!”, indicates a growing celebrity support for Trump.
“I stand with Bobby and I stand with everyone else who is standing with President Trump,” Levi said in a viral clip from the event circulating on X. “My parents were Kennedy Democrats that then turned into Reagan Republicans. And they taught me to have a healthy level of distrust for the government and a healthy level of distrust for industry that runs amok.”
“And for a long time, I was, like man, I really want to find a politician who represents all of the things that I want and I want to see in a presidential candidate. We live in a country that has been hijacked by a lot of people who want to take this place way off the cliff. And we’re here to stop that, right? We’re here to make sure that we’re going to take back this country. We are going to make it great again,” he continued.
“We are going to make it healthy again. And so I stand with Bobby, and I stand with Tulsi, and I stand with everyone standing with President Trump because I do believe that of the two choices we have, President Trump is the man that can get us there, and he’s going to get us there because he’s going to have the backing and the support and the wisdom and the knowledge and the fight that exists in Robert Kennedy, Jr.,” Levi added.

His opposition to COVID-19 vaccinations and pandemic lockdowns sparked the “Make America Healthy Again” movement, which intersected with the MAGA universe.
Supporters like Levi, Gabbard, and others reflect a diverse political background, indicating that Trump’s coalition has expanded significantly beyond just Republicans and conservative independent voters.
